Perform scrub person duties during the intraoperative phase of surgical procedures Assist in the preparation and dispensing of instruments, equipment and supplies required for surgical procedures
Conduct all instrument, needle, sharps and sponge counts, as well as handle specimens
Assist in the application of dressings or casts and moving patients
Shift/Hours:
Day Shift: Full Time, 40 hrs./wk., start at 7:00am (8's, 10's, or 12's)
Compensation:
Pay: Starting at $25.50 and increases with experience.
Sign On Bonus: $5k Sign on bonus with 1 year experience, $2.5k Sign on bonus with 6+ mo. experience
Tuition Reimbursement:
Employees working 20-29 hours/week = up to $2,500
30-35 hours/week = $3,750
36-40 hours/week = $5,000
Requirements:
Licensure: N/A
Certification: Not required
Experience: New graduates and/or candidates with current Surg Tech experience accepted. Candidates who previously worked as a Surg Tech but have been out of the field for years will not be considered. Experience must be from acute care hospital.
Education: High school diploma or GED. Graduate of a Surgical Tech program.

Number of OR's: 20 and growing
Are there on-call rooms candidates can stay in? Yes
What career growth opportunities exist? Yes. Senior Surg Tech. This role has elements of both CST and surgical first assist duties.
