Conduct testing on parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, and/or other equipment to support part validation.
Write, maintain and edit CMM programs as needed to support customer requirements.
Provide technical/dimensional feedback and support to QE’s in support of customer requirements.
Generate test reports from validation testing using statistical process control (SPC) methods.
Conduct inspection of parts.
Other duties as required.
Associate’s degree in a technical field or High School diploma and commensurate experience.
2 years of CMM programming experience. Experience using DMIS based software (PC DMIS or Open DMIS is highly preferred).
Working knowledge of SPC, Quality problem solving tools, and GD&T.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, statistical analysis, and CMM data.
Computer knowledge and experience required.
Skills with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, quality tools and programs.
Ability to multi task to meet timing targets.
