Responsibilities of the Field Service Technician include but are are not limited to:
Setting Up and implementing new equipment
Training customers in operation and maintenance
Assisting in technical phone support
Coordinating information between customer and company to correct equipment difficulties in the field
Maintaining Quality Control of equipment prior to shipment
Troubleshooting and repairing equipment
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Experience in reading mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
Self-starter and comfortable working with people in trouble-shooting and problem solving.
Proficiency in basic computer skills.
Possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
Team oriented and possess a strong commitment to quality.
Three to five years experience in field service or equipment maintenance in a related industry.
Experience trouble shooting mechanical and electrical problems in industrial equipment.
Experience working with packaging equipment.
PLC logic development and trouble-shooting.
