The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for improving manufacturing methods, designing products and monitoring materials. They will develop and manage fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, and quality control standards. They will coordinate project work for new products from inception and prototyping to start up and certification. They will responsible for product improvements for existing products and scrap and cost reduction.The Manufacturing Engineer will also be responsible for providing operating instructions to the manufacturing team, training and developing the R&D department, training hourly employees, as well as leading continuous improvement initiatives, quality workshops, audits and events.
