Responsibilities: Troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLC’s and production converting machines (chains, saws, lathes, feeders for plywood). Most of the day will be electrical but every now and then they will be required to step in and help the mill wrights. NOT a climate-controlled environment, however there is a break room with AC they can go to if they need. Training will be done on day shift for 3-6 months, no programming is necessary, will consider a candidate for higher pay if they need to be competitive, however please do not use that as a selling point unless necessary.
Must Haves: Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, mechanical understanding, experience working directly alongside operators to come up with a solution (for soft skills), 480v, 3-5 years’ experience.
Plusses: Associates degree, 10+ years’ experience, experience plugging in a laptop to follow the logic.
