This position deals with a wide variety of customers, from small business that are needing to rent radios for an event that they are having (such as church picnics), to large events like the Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Fair, to some national customers that we help with their increased needs during peak season.
This person will need to be able to handle a wide variety of tasks. Being able to deal with customers on a face to face basis for when they are prospecting, delivering product or picking product up, as well as participating in some events and being on hand for any potential issues that come up. They will need to have attention to detail, be computer savvy and able to be trained to use client’s computer systems to create proposals and rentals contracts, and heavy use of email. They will be hands on with the equipment, from testing it, cleaning it, programming it (training is provided), packing and shipping it, receiving it back and minor troubleshooting.
The hours for this position are from 8:00 – 5:00 with either a 30 minute or hour lunch. There will also be some after-hours work necessary for different events, and (after being fully trained) will rotate “on call” for the weekend, wherein they will be the one that would be contacted if there were any issues that needed to be fixed after hours.
This position is eligible for incentives.
