The Crisis Response Respiratory Therapist is responsible for the care of patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders in a COVID-19 unit.
They will respond to all trauma and code arrivals and assist in airway management, intubation, ventilation, noninvasive modalities, monitoring, and in-house transports. The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for managing patient ventilators and artificial airway devices. They will also educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment and recovery.
