The Structural Engineering Manager for the Engineering Department is responsible for the oversight of all development of technical competence for the Engineering Structural Team. The Structural Engineering Manager is responsible for the review and improvement of all engineering processes, technical excellence, technical training, review of key project deliverables, a consultant for innovation, and overall project competence in structural engineering. This includes mentoring key leaders for continued growth of the department and company capacity.
The Structural Engineering Manager will work with the Director of Engineering for overall department health; they are therefore responsible for managing personnel issues related to the team, including performance reviews, career planning, and development of people as needed.
The Structural Engineering Manager is required to expand their Professional Engineer’s Licensure (more states, more technical specialization when needed).
