The Physical Therapist will work in an outpatient setting, focusing on patients requiring extra physical help recovering, including post-op patients or those who have sustained an injury.
The Physical Therapist consults with the patient to learn about their current condition and then works to develop a treatment plan. The PT's goal is to elevate or relieve pain while improving mobility for the patient.
The Physical Therapist also focuses on creating patient-specific fitness programs once determining the root cause of the trauma and counsels the patient on exactly what it will take to fix or make the injury more manageable.
