RN - 2H Thought Disorders - MD job in Towson, MD
22-bed unit that serves adults 18 and older with a wide variety of Bipolar and Schizophrenia . The inpatient treatment focus is on crisis stabilization and medication management by a psychiatrist, with an average length of stay of between five and 10 days.
Shift/Hours:
Multiple Shifts available to include Day/Evening and Night shifts.
Compensation:
Pay: Starts at $32/hr.
Sign On Bonus: $6,000 for Full Time RN's.
Requirements:
License: MD RN License, NPs will not be considered for RN positions
Certification: AHA approved Basic Life Support/CPR certification
Experience: New Grads Accepted.
Education: Associate's Degree
Preferred:
Experience in a psychiatric nursing setting preferred. May prefer a more experienced nurse will still consider a new grad.

Patient population: Psychotic Disorders
Common diagnoses: Bipolar and Schizophrenia
Nurse to patient ratio: 1:7
Average # of admits per day/week: 5-10 per week
