RN - 3 West Med/Surg - NC - Night Shift job in Raleigh, NC
Care for patients with lung, kidney and heart related illness or diagnoses. Monitor and manage patients with ventilators, peritoneal dialysis, arrhythmias and cardiac drips. Provide an exceptional level of care, continuously utilizing critical thinking and a wide range of clinical skills for patients with multiple comorbidities.
Shift/Hours:
Night shift: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
Compensation:
Pay: Clinical Nurse (CN) I = less than 12 mo. exp. - $29.25
CN II = Min (at least 12 mo. exp.) - $30.75, Mid $37.80, Max $49.14
Sign On Bonus: Up to a $20,000 bonus with a 4 year commitment OR up to $25,000 tuition loan incentive
Relocation Bonus: $1,000 - $10,000
Must Haves:
License: NC RN License
Certifications: BLS
Experience: 1 year of acute care experience.
Education: Associates accepted; Must agree to enroll in BSN program within 4 years of being hired; Must complete BSN within 7 years.
Preferred:
Med Surg experience preferred.
About the Unit:
Number of beds: 31
Nurse to patient ratio: 1:5
Patient Population: Adult medicine unit that primarily receives patients out of the Emergency Department or downgraded level of care. Average length of stay is 3-5 days.
